Why people come to us

The things you're probably thinking

Most people arrive with the same three worries. Here's the honest answer to each.

I can't afford to stop working

You don't have to. Courses are designed around adults with jobs and families — study part-time or in a format that fits your week. Nothing here asks you to give up your income.

My old qualifications won't count

Often they count for more than you think — and where they don't, a Foundation year is built exactly for that. We look at what you already have and find the route that fits it.

The paperwork is too much

That's the part we take off your plate. Application, documents, Student Finance — we prepare it with you and keep it moving. You make the decisions; we handle the admin.

How it works

Three steps, and the weight is off you

We stay with you from the first conversation to your first day of study.

We handle everything, 100% free.

1

We talk through your situation

A short call to understand your background, your goals and what you can realistically fit around work. No pressure, no scripts.

2

We match you and apply

We find the course and university that fit, prepare your application and sort your Student Finance paperwork with you.

3

You enrol and start

Offer accepted, funding in place, you begin. We stay reachable if anything comes up along the way.

Funding

Government funding, not your savings

Most students fund their studies through Student Finance England — a tuition fee loan paid straight to the university, plus a maintenance loan to help with living costs. You only start repaying once you earn over the threshold.

Tuition fee loan
up to £9,790paid to the university
Maintenance loan
up to £14,135living costs, London rate
Repayment (Plan 5)
9%on earnings over £25,000

What that can mean for you

  • Tuition covered by a loan paid directly to your university.
  • A maintenance loan of up to £10,830 outside London, or up to £14,135 in London.
  • Nothing to repay until you earn over £25,000 a year.
  • We check what you may be eligible for as part of your enquiry.

On your own

This is for you if…

You'll recognise yourself in a few of these

  • You live in the UK and you're working already.
  • A qualification keeps coming up between you and the job you want.
  • Your studies were abroad, a long time ago, or never finished.
  • You can't afford a break from earning.
  • The admin has put you off doing this before.
  • You'd rather someone handled the process with you.

Questions

Straight answers

Is it really free?
Yes. Our partner universities pay us when a student enrols, so our guidance costs you nothing. You're never asked for a fee, and you're under no obligation to go ahead.
Do I have to stop working to study?
No. The courses we work with are made for adults with jobs. You choose a format that fits your week and keep your income while you study.
My qualifications are old or from another country. Does that matter?
Not necessarily. Prior study can count towards your route, and where it doesn't, a Foundation year is designed for exactly that starting point. We assess what you have and find the fit.
How does the funding work?
Most students use Student Finance England: a tuition fee loan paid to the university and a maintenance loan for living costs. Repayment only begins once you earn over £25,000. Whether you qualify depends on your circumstances, which we check with you.
Which universities do you work with?
Accredited, government-funded universities across the UK. We match you to the ones that suit your subject and situation, and talk you through the options before you decide anything.
What happens after I send my details?
We get in touch for a short, no-pressure conversation about your goals and what fits around your work. If it looks right, we help you apply. If not, you've lost nothing.

The process is free. The decision is yours.

Tell us where you are now and we'll show you where you could study — no cost, no pressure.
